Welcome to Fleur de soie!

Firstly, I want to express my deepest gratitude for stopping by and supporting my business. I'm Serika, a Gold Coast mum who finds immense joy in being a mother to my two lovely daughters. For the past 14 years, I've dedicated my time wholeheartedly to my family. Now, with my little one growing more independent, I find myself with a bit of spare time, a space carved out for something beyond the role of a mum.

In this newfound time, I began to contemplate the questions that often lingered quietly within me: "What is ME?" and "What do I want?" As I pondered these questions, I discovered a deep love for fashion. Personally, I'm drawn to unique pieces, and this led me to create earrings and hair accessories for my girls and myself. What is the motivation behind this DIY venture? I couldn't find lightweight earrings that were both comfortable and stunning. Heavy earrings and droopy ears were simply not my style.

Thus, Fleur de soie was born from the desire to craft comfortable yet gorgeous earrings. I take pride in my creations, as they reflect my personal journey in finding the perfect balance between style and comfort. Wearing my handmade earrings, I receive compliments wherever I go – even from strangers at the supermarket who stop me and ask, "Where did you get those earrings?"

And guess what? You can also find my stall at the Sunday markets on the Gold Coast. It has been so lovely to meet cheerful and lovely people in the market!

The positive experiences and newfound confidence have inspired me to share my passion with the world. Fleur de soie specializes in lightweight earrings, predominantly crafted from fabric and silk flowers. The name itself, "Fleur de soie," translates to "silk flowers" in French, reflecting the delicate beauty and comfort that define our pieces.
